One of our Quantum team members Tizzy was excited to locate these old survey spikes whilst on site recently in Geraldton, WA. One of which dates back almost 90 years!!!
The first of the spikes was from 1938 and the other dating back 46 years was from 1978. We always enjoy coming across pieces of history that are important to our industry.
These spikes were replaced with brand metal spikes and ready to last the next 90 plus years! What will surveying look like by then???
